a collaborative of local artists

We are a statutory close corporation with 29 artist/owner positions.  We're all equal owners and everyone is responsible for gallery operations.  We work 2-4 days per month in addition to serving on a gallery committee or board position.

We have two wall sizes; 4ft (1/2 wall) and 8ft (full wall).  Artist/Owners pay rent every month for their wall and the gallery takes 20% commission from sales. There are only 2 spaces for 3D artists.  Our contract year runs from April to March.  Our process for selecting new artists is being revamped but would only be used if we get vacancies.
