Sue has enjoyed drawing and painting since she was very young. After earning her BA in Fine Arts Education, she taught art in the public schools in Pennsylvania. She had her own studio and gallery there and for 20 years participated in juried fine art shows along the east coast. In 2009, Ms. Lowcavage moved to South Carolina and was drawn to the natural beauty of the Lowcountry; the flowers, palms, birds, and beaches. Sue has an art studio at Public Works Art Center in Downtown Summerville.
