John Foehl discovered his love for B&W photography some 40 years ago in college.  After a hiatus involving raising a family and a professional career he retired and set about reimagining his life.  Rekindling an affair with a camera seemed to be a perfect place to start.

Working primarily in black & white landscape photography his images tend towards the dark and moody side of the spectrum.  His portfolio also includes long-exposure pastels and nightscapes.  John works from his home in Summerville, SC but can be found wandering, camera in hand, in many locales in the U.S. and abroad.
