Watercolor Batiking on Rice Paper Workshop
Join artist Jan Dalton for a fun day of “Getting Outside of the Box”! Explore how you can create a great piece of art with an old electric frying pan, a block of wax and a colorful palette of watercolors.
This is fun for all.
New to art? That’s exciting because you don’t have to know the rules you are about to break.
Experienced artist? Oh yeah, this is a day to throw out the rules, just have fun and get inspired.
All you need to do is dress comfortably and plan on about 4 hours. All materials and equipment will be supplied by me. Including a drawing already on rice paper ready for waxing and color.
(If you work in watercolors and have a favorite palette you like to use bring it and your brushes. If you have a drawing you want to Batik by all means bring a copy of it. Let me know so I can bring blank paper for you to use. FYI: the size of the paper we will be using is 8 x 10)
