Cathy Peterson Fuller is an active member of the Charleston Artist Guild – currently serving as the Vice-President. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, Columbia where she majored in Real Estate and Interior Design.
Cathy spent her early years in Aiken SC and San Antonio TX before settling in Charleston. She works primarily in oil and cold wax, with brush and knife, attributing her love of brilliant color to influences and inspirations from her mother and Georgia O’Keefe. She is a strong believer in allowing her stream of consciousness technique to guide her from the start to the finish of any piece she creates.
“I see color as an avenue of expression, everyone needs some color in their life. I am passionate about the colors of my city Charleston, the outdoors, the water, the architecture, everywhere I look there’s a painting !”
